How to Measure for Made-to-Measure Blinds
Accurate measurements are the foundation of a well-fitting blind. Use a metal tape measure, record every dimension in inches, and measure each window separately—even windows that look identical can vary slightly.
Inside or outside mount?
For an inside mount, check the opening depth and measure the internal width at the top, middle and bottom. Measure the height at the left, centre and right. For an outside mount, decide how far the blind should overlap the opening, then measure the full finished width and height.
Do not make manufacturing deductions yourself. Enter the measurements requested by the product configurator, or arrange professional help if the window is difficult to reach or unusually shaped. Follow our complete measuring guide.
