Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers about choosing, measuring, configuring and installing your made-to-measure blinds.

How do I choose the right type of blind?

Start with the room’s practical need: daylight, privacy, glare control, insulation or stronger light blocking. Compare the five blind families on the All Blinds page, then review each product’s available colours and configuration choices.

How should I measure my windows?

Measure every window separately with a metal tape measure. Decide on an inside or outside mount, take the width and height in multiple places, and recheck the numbers before ordering. The How to Measure guide explains the process step by step.

Can you measure and install the blinds for me?

Yes. Every blind configurator includes a required choice between DIY and professional measure-and-install service. Select the professional option or contact us if you want help before placing the order. Additional charges may apply.

Will the price change when I enter my measurements?

Yes. The product configurator calculates the blind area from the entered width and height and updates the displayed price after all required choices are complete.

What do 1%, 3% and 5% mean for Solar Shades?

They are openness choices that describe how much of the solar fabric is open. A lower percentage has a tighter weave, while a higher percentage generally preserves more outward view. Choose the option that best balances view, glare and privacy for the room.

Where is my colour choice saved?

The selected colour name and order code are carried with the configured product into the cart, checkout and order details so the chosen fabric can be identified accurately.

Can I install the blinds myself?

Many customers choose DIY installation for accessible, straightforward windows. Follow the product-specific instructions and our general installation guide. For high, difficult or unusual windows, choose professional service.

How can I ask a question before ordering?

Use the Contact Us page and include the blind type, room, approximate window size and what you need help with. That gives the team enough context to respond efficiently.
